Jesus Culture is a Christian youth outreach ministry that hosts three conferences in Redding, California every year, as well as in Atlanta, Las Vegas, Dallas, Cleveland and Australia and England. The conferences bring thousands of young people from around the world to the host cities.

Early on it became clear that worship was to be a significant part of the Jesus Culture movement. Kim Walker, Chris Quilala, and Melissa How were worship leaders at Bethel Church’s youth group, and the Lord began to use them to bring an entire generation into whole-hearted worship (they are the core of the Jesus Culture Band).

Australian songwriter and worship leader Darlene Zschech is a notable supporter, recently Twittering: “Jesus Culture…a must have for all those who love worship. My soul is inspired, my spirit is soaring. Jesus is everything.” Songs written by Jesus Culture worship leaders are also attracting international attention. Kim Walker’s cover of the John Mark McMillan song, How He Loves Us, has received over 2.5 million hits on YouTube.

I was introduced to Jesus Culture music about a year ago and love it SO much! It’s been on repeat for almost a year, ha. My Passion is just as good or better than the previous albums. The whole thing is 5 of 5 stars, definitely worth buying it all. I’d recommend checking out We Cry Out and Your Love Never Fails, as well as Kristene Mueller and Ian McIntosh’s tunes. Love it. I recommend Jesus Culture and Bill Johnson (Beej, as I like to call him ha – ps, check out Bethel podcasts for sermons that will rock you) to about everyone I know cause they represent Jesus so well and stir my heart for revival and hunger for more of God’s presence!
